In the leaflet, written in large letters, we read that: the work is the result of a long and exclusive research that produced a misleading figure of a fairy-enchanted-cheeky-indifferent and arrogant woman-child, who does not care about anything or anyone.
Do not let it fooled you by the “philanderer” chiffon dress, polka dot and 3D, from the hair to the Madame Bovary’s stile, from the eyes and lips like Betty Boop by Fleischer brothers in the 1930,from her round and reassuring face as a sign of Mirò.
Actually, La Fille Bertha goes straight on his way, unharmed breaks herself on the walls of the houses, leaving traces and signs of its passage with the figure of a woman, by the power and body size of the wrestler “Bertha Faye”, which expands herself until it occupied each space, breaking over everything like a Katerpillar, yellow and black coloured, light floating on a white background abstract.
La Fille Bertha knows well the various communication and interpretation systems, hence the misleading her “dreamy world”, full of evocative and cultured quotes, that with the notes of Minnie the Moocher, accompanies everybody from the childhood, to the adolescence, to the full age and then again for a long time, becoming one of our memory.
